- You’ve tried making cheese with your goat milk—but the results just aren’t what you hoped for . Your wheels turn out dry or rubbery. The texture is off, and the flavor is always a little too “goaty.” No matter how closely you follow the recipe, your cheese never quite reaches that creamy, delicious result you imagined.
- You want to start making cheese—but every time you look into it, you feel overwhelmed. There’s so much conflicting information out there, and none of it seems tailored to goat milk. You’re not sure where to begin, and you worry about wasting precious milk (and time) on recipes that might fail.
- You’re not new to cheesemaking—but your results are hit or miss. Some batches turn out fine. Others are total flops. You’ve searched for answers, but most resources don’t speak to the nuances of goat milk. You're craving clear, simple guidance that finally makes goat milk cheesemaking make sense.

This is right for you if...
- You dream of confidently making delicious, nourishing cheese for your family—without second-guessing every step or relying on trial and error.
- You’re craving structure and simplicity—step-by-step guidance that fits into your full life without being overwhelming, and helps you build a skillset you can be proud of.
- You want to learn the art of cheesemaking from someone who truly understands goat milk—and can walk you through the process with clarity based on real-life experience.
- You feel deeply connected to your land, your animals, and the food you grow—and you feel the quiet pull to honor the abundance they give. Turning that milk into beautiful, nourishing cheese feels like the ultimate from-scratch triumph.
This is not for you if...
- You enjoy trial and error and prefer piecing together information from books and the internet. The idea of structured, step-by-step guidance feels too limiting for your preferred DIY style.
- You’re already making consistently great cheese with goat milk. Your cheeses turn out reliably delicious, and you feel fully confident working with goat milk—no questions, no troubleshooting, no surprises.
- You want fast results, not foundational understanding. This course dives into the why behind the techniques so you can make great cheese again and again—not just get lucky once.
- You don’t actually like cheese (hey, it happens!). If the idea of filling your fridge with homemade cheddar, gouda, and mozzarella doesn’t excite you—or you’re not planning to eat or share the cheese you make—this probably isn’t your thing.
about the instructor
meet your coach, Sarah
Sarah Withers is a milkmaid and flower farmer living on a two-acre homestead in Phoenix, Arizona, with her husband Zack and their four children—Charlotte, Beatrice, Theodore, and William.
She fell in love with dairying seven years ago after bringing home a pair of Jersey cows and a sweet little goat. These days, the family’s dairy needs are met by their ever-growing herd of Mini Nubian goats.
Sarah also loves gardening, growing fruit trees, watching The Office on repeat, cooking from scratch, and sewing. But more than anything, she loves being a mama. Spending her days at home—teaching her little ones about Jesus, reading good books, working outdoors, and learning together—feels like her wildest dream come true. Cheesemaking is just the cherry on top.

Frequently asked questions
The off-season is a great time to dive in deep and learn about cheesemaking and what makes goat milk unique so that you’re totally prepared when you’re in milk again!
And because the course is self-paced you can always go back and refresh when you’re ready to make cheese.
Yes! Course members receive access for life to all the course contents, and you’ll also get access to any future updates too, even when the price goes up.
Of course! I’d be honored to know you’re making cheese with my recipes that is delicious and quality enough to sell. I just ask that you keep my recipes, tutorials, and all course contents for yourself and do not share.
Yes, these recipes are written for homesteaders, and the assumption is that you have access to clean raw goat milk. You can absolutely try these recipes with pasteurized milk, but you will need to adjust your process accordingly.
Absolutely! Goat and sheep milk share lots in common – particularly the smaller, more fragile molecular structure. The one big difference is that sheep milk typically has an even higher butterfat content than goat milk, so you’ll just get higher yields on your cheese! My recipes and methods will work beautifully for sheep milk.
Each module contains a video training that ranges from 5-20 minutes, and can easily be watched in intervals. The video cheese tutorials range from 10-25 minutes, and are helpful to watch in advance of making each kind of cheese, as well as a reference during the make. This course is bingeable in a weekend, with continued referencing as you tackle each recipe.
